Playing Tennis

Social Tennis

We offer a few organised social tennis sessions to encourage members to play together. The courts are available for members to use at all other times between 9am and 10pm (9:30pm on a Saturday and Sunday), floodlights must be switched off by 10pm latest. If you’re interested in playing at any of these sessions please come along or contact us to check they are going ahead. You can request to be added to the WhatsApp groups, which are useful in organising times to play.

We have a number of children’s tennis rackets and some tennis balls for general use in the clubhouse.

Competitive Tennis

Brent Knoll & Mark Tennis Club enters teams into the North Somerset Tennis League, which organises friendly competitive matches with other clubs in the local area.

The summer league runs from April to July and consists of a Men’s and Ladies’ doubles team (4 players in each team) playing on a Monday & Tuesday evening, respectively.

We currently have one Ladies’ team entered into the 2024 summer season. The team consists of four ladies who play two doubles matches during the evening. We would love to enter a Men’s team in next year’s 2025 Summer League! So please get in touch if you’re interested.

The Winter League runs from October to March, consisting of two mixed doubles teams and the matches are normally played on a Sunday morning.

Occasionally we enter other local competitions and friendly matches with other clubs.
